TripApp is a mobile application designed to reduce the harms associated with the use of psychoactive substances

We believe this can be achieved through providing people with reliable and honest information about drugs, and getting members of the community actively involved in this process.

We all believe in the drug policies that are based on honest education, scientific evidence, public health approach and human rights.
Nowadays, the drug markets are changing so rapidly, that the old ways of drug education are not sufficient anymore. The introduction of a vast number of New Psychoactive Substances (NPS), an increase in the role of the internet in the drug trade and the invention of new production methods for certain substances, resulting in their increased potency. That’s are all reasons which made us rethink how we should spread information about these substances.

Privacy & Safety

The use of psychoactive substances is still a social taboo and in plenty of countries even possession of a small quantity of drugs is a criminal offence. That is why we are taking the privacy and safety of TripApp users very seriously.

We believe that the best way to protect your personal information is not to have it in the first place. That’s why the TripApp will ask very few questions about you.

So in order to be able to send you alerts about dangerous substances in your area, we will need to ask which city you are currently in. You can change the city anytime. In a similar way, we will ask you for the city name when you want to look for harm reduction in your area, so we know what place you are interested in.

One of the most important factors when deciding what dose of a substance is dangerous, is ones bodyweight. The lower the bodyweight, the smaller the dose should be. That is why if you want to receive Dose Smart alerts that are relevant for you, you will need to type in your bodyweight. This information is not stored on our servers or in the app, so you will need to type it manually everytime

Metadata included in the pictures, such as GPS location or author’s name, will be automatically removed by the app before being uploaded to our database.
